Cole's Corner: Summer Time!

Summer has officially arrived temperature wise and swimming time is in full force. As you tell from the pictures below, there is a common theme... Cole LOVES to swim! And he's a really strong one too, he loves jumping off the sides doing flips, cannon balls, and making the biggest splashes ever so he gets Mommy all wet. :) He likes swimming to the bottom and getting his dive toys too. Not a lot of new news to report, his school year is wrapping up and he'll do a new Summer Program this year. It's at the same place he goes to for his after school care and it sounds like they do some fun things, so it should be exciting. He'll continue to do his Speech Therapy and he's still loving gymnastics. We signed him up for soccer and he'll start that in the Fall. I'm really excited to see if he will enjoy it. He's working really hard and deserves to have some fun. One of his big highlights this month was rocking out with his daddy. B.T. played at the local Relay for Life and I figured it would be perfect for Cole to see him since he really enjoys practicing with the band. Of course, he sat on the front row and slowly moved his chair closer and closer to the stage. I turned my back for 5 seconds and before I knew it the kid was on stage. I guess all the excitment got all over him and he had to do his thing. Needless to say he was very entertaining and had a blast. Future Rock Star in the making! :) He had some special visitors this month and he always enjoys that. His Grandma and Paw Paw came in from Dallas and his Aunt Bubbers and Uncle Johnnie came in from Fort Worth. He always loves seeing and playing with his family, and of course getting spoiled with all the attention.
