Just Hanging!

Happy Spring, it's been so nice having a longer Spring season this year. Rarely do we get awesome temperatures like this for this long. Which means we have spent a lot of time outside, and it's been great because you're not having to stand in front of a fan praying you won't pass out from the heat. :) We had Cole's yearly meeting with the school and they had nothing but great things to report. He is doing good and working really hard, still some catching up to do but he's on the right track. They all agree he is so smart, it's just getting everything out in complete sentences. His teacher and therapist talked about Cole's goals for next year. They said he is full of personality, he just seems so happy to be there. They are starting to introduce math concepts, forming more words in sentences, question/answer type exercises, sorting, and reading. That is one thing that has surprised me but I'm very happy about it. He loves reading his books they send home, he will actually sit down and want to read. And anyone that knows Cole, him sitting down for long periods is very rare.  His Music teacher was also there and said he loves playing with the instruments which isn't a surprise.  His Daddy has taught him all about guitars and the different types, he loves it when they have practice. He will get a break this summer and will be going to Summer Camp at a local church. We'll keep him in speech because it's so good for him and it will help keep him on track and in the groove of doing some type of learning exercises. I just ordered some new learning activities books, I'm excited and hope he enjoys them. We had a great Easter, Cole did the egg hunt at the church which is always fun. They have lots of fun activities and of course the big hunt. He looked so handsome in his Sunday clothes and sat through the whole church service. Here are a few recent pictures of my favorite little man.
