Bubba Love
We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! I know, I'm way late but that seems to be the trend with me lately on my post. :) Cole had a very fun and memorable holiday, he had a week filled with lots of fun activities. And we finished the week off perfectly with church Sunday morning. The service was beautiful, and it's just a great reminder of the true meaning of Easter. We did some of the fun traditional things, dyed some super cute Easter eggs and went on a few egg hunts. Things have been fast and furious the past month, and the feeling of summer is quickly approaching. Cole only has 3 more weeks of BIG school and then he'll be back to daycare everyday. We have decided to continue his speech therapy through the summer. It has worked wonders for him, and I know with that extra one on one help it will only expand that mind even further. I'm so excited he's learning to say so many more words, although there are a few I could do without. For example, a day doesn't go by that I don't hear the word "mine" a few times. Even stuff that is technically mine like my brush or makeup is now considered his. If he thinks Roxy is trying to get his ball or food, he'll say..."mine, mine, mine!" But then turn around and feed her half his food. Crazy kid, I've got to end this soon! Right now, one of his favorite activities to do is swim. He would stay in the water until he's wrinkled up like a little prune if you let him. And he still loves loves loves soccer and anything to do with trucks. He is starting to eat a little better and branching out and eating different things. He still has an obsession with cinnamon rolls, that's the first thing I usually hear from him in the morning when he comes bursting in the door. If sprinkling cinnamon on veggies would get him to eat them I would totally do it. :) They had field day at his school a couple of weeks ago and he had a blast, they had a lot of fun activities for them to do. He's really going to miss his friends and teacher over the summer. They have taught him so much this year, he is doing great with his colors, counting, puzzles, more interested in books, and day to day tasks. This kid continues to melt my heart and always put a smile on my face. I love it when I drop him off at school and he has to give me a million hugs and that sweet slobbery kiss. And then when I pick him up, he runs up to me and gives me the best hug. And then quickly runs to their candy bowl for his sucker to take home. Have a wonderful summer!
