Yes.... we're still here! :)

Soooo I'll be the first to admit that I'm so far behind on my post, I can't believe it's been a few months since I've given a Mr C update.. I'm sure he's been on everyone's mind and you've been missing him. :) As usual it's been busy busy around here. We survived the holidays and little man scored some awesome gifts. He got a lot of fun learning toys and videos, and some super cute clothes he's been sporting. He really enjoyed seeing all his cousins and family, and going to look at Christmas lights. I take it to the extreme with Christmas lights, I could go every night to look at the pretty twinkling lights and Bubbs is always in tow. School is going great for him, it's been amazing how much he has learned in the past couple of month. And he's really enjoying it, this kid wants to learn!! B.T. and I try to take the extra step and work with him in evenings after we're home from work/school. He loves to work on puzzles, read books, and watch his videos a million times. No exaggeration there, I catch myself singing all those silly songs in my head all day long. I haven't gone crazy yet! :) He loves to count to 10, work on his abc's, and anything to do with animals and trucks. Some of his favorite words to say are... "banana, train, bear, blankie, outside, play, ride, milk, and no." We have learned a lot more signs and his therapist say he's doing so much better in school. He seems a lot more confident in himself and that makes a Mama very happy. He had an appt in January at Texas Children's and they did a skin biospy. They took a small little piece of skin from the inside part of his upper arm. Needless to say he did not like that, but was brave as he could be and we filled his belly with Mexican food when were done. It will take about 8-10 weeks before we have results on these test. I know God is watching over Cole and has a special journey for him. Going through something like this it really teaches you to enjoy all the moments you have with your kids even more... Treasure every laugh, cry, and tantrum they may have. Here are just a few pictures over the past couple of months. Cole is full of personality and is all boy.. he loves to play soccer, go to the park, ride the choo-choo train at the zoo, play with play-do, and visit the farm every chance he gets. He is getting more and more independent everyday and can be just as stubborn as his Mommy.. :) He's going through a phase where he likes for things to be on his terms... please tell me that will end soon! I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Spring Break!
