Fun times with the Bubba Love!

Wow, I didn't realize how long it's been since my last post! I'll try to make up for it with lots of cute pics of my favorite little man. You'll have to excuse some of the pictures, I'm having some camera issues. My wish for a super new camera keeps getting pushed down on the list... Oh well, now to continue on with Mr. C's update. Lots of great things have been going on the past month. Cole is really enjoying his new big boy school, and they are learning lots of amazing things. I could not ask for a better teacher, she is wonderful with the kids and they are like a sponge around her. He got to go on his first field trip last week and they had a great time. And that also means he got to ride the big yellow bus which he LOVES so much! I think he would prefer it if Mommy traded in her wheels and drove a bus everywhere. He thinks they are the coolest thing ever! Too cute :)... For now, we'll just continue to let him enjoy his rides from school to daycare everyday. He is learning more words along with his sign language, it's cute watching him get excited about learning a new word or doing his best to count to ten. We've had a couple of doctor's appointments at Texas Children's the past two months. We had a checkup with his Retina Specialist and he did not see any changes with Cole's eyes since the last visit a year ago which was great news. And he also had another hearing test done and there have been no changes with either ear... Yippeee, two great visits and he did wonderful at both of them, he is such a brave and strong boy. He has such a beautiful spirit about him, I can't get enough of his silly personality and his energy for life. We are still working with the Genetics Department at Texas Children's, they just wrapped up the last of their test and they all came back normal. Can I get another yippeee!!! They still believe he falls under the Peroxisomal Disorder due to his phytanic acid levels being high and also the issues with his eyes and ears. We hope to hear soon what our next step will be, for now we continue to keep him on his diet and hope that nothing progresses. And most importantly continue to say lots of prayers, and we appreciate everyone who says those extra special prayers for him. They really are working!
Getting ready to get on the train... I took Cole to ride Thomas the Train last weekend and he had a blast.
On board and taking in all the excitement...
Do we really have to get off???
All the kids did their own version of doing a choo choo line down the aisle and Mr. C was lead man.
Taking in the pretty view...
This was so much fun, can we go again????
For some reason he looks like a BIG boy in this picture, he is growing up way too fast for me. Slow down Mr. C.... :)
Getting ready for church... practicing our "praying" hands.
This happy face gets me through any type of day! :)
Super C!!!!!!!
All snuggled and smelling so good for night night.
A little late night party time!!!
Yes, Mommy.... I'm so the boss of you! :)
I love pumpkins and LOTS of candy!!
Woahhhhh.... he loved playing in the hay.
Mr. C had to inspect each pumpkin carefully, he took this job seriously! :)
This one looks good....
hmmmm... this one too! There are just way too many to choose from!

Yep, this is the ONE for sure!!!
