Just a few fun things!

July has been off to a great start, we celebrated the 4th with some good ole' family fun. We decided to go to the farm so Mr. C could run around for miles. He even stripped down to his bare bottom and got in the lake. Mental note for Mommy... remember the floaty and camera next time! His most favorite thing to do is go for rides on the mule and he usually likes to do the driving. The weather was super hot but we had a great time, and managed to stay cool in the shade with some cold beverages. :) And did I mention the yummy food Pop cooked up on the grill.... it was so tasty! Cole also had some fun activities at school, they made really cute T-shirts for the holiday and took pictures that turned out great. And they popped a few fireworks! This week it's "Ocean" week and they have water day tomorrow. Ahhh... to be a kid again! :)
Cruising around with his Pop!
He loves, loves, loves to "drive" the mule... with sound effects and all!
Getting spoiled by his Nini..
Mr. C went skating for the first time and did better than I expected. Once he figured out the shoes on his feet rolled he didn't need Mommy's help anymore. That's Mr. Independent for you!
That is the look of a little guy having a great time!
He was amazed at the flashing lights and disco ball, and of course he danced! Because that's how Mr. C rolls!!!!!
We ditched the skates and proceeded to run around like a wild man. Just a little "cool off" time...
This boy could swim for hours if you let him. His little fingers and piggies get so wrinkly.
Cole's favorite reading book for night night right now is his Bible. When you get it out the first thing he says is "Jesus." He can also say Noah and we're working on Moses. Daddy taught him elephant and that's really cute to watch him say. It's so cool to watch kids learn and see their minds developing. And we're very proud that he wants to learn all about the wonderful stories in our Bible. Bless our sweet little boy! :)
