Happy Memorial Day!!!!

There are so many things I love about this holiday.... let me name just a few. First and foremost not having to go to work is a huge perk, and eating endless yummy food all day is wonderful too. And just a side note, we LOVE to eat.... :) I have a feeling I'll need to walk at least a extra couple of miles next week! And it's all worth it! Hanging out with friends and family and catching up is great. And playing non-stop and being a big kid yourself is always the best. I have to admit after all this entertainment I could use an extra day off just to relax and catch up on some sleep. My little early bird started off each day ready to go!!! I wish I had this kid's energy level sometimes, he amazes me. Mr. C got to see lots of family this weekend and took in all the lovin he could get. He started off the weekend great and got to see his Grandma and Grandpa. He loves it when they come to visit!! And so does Roxy! Next on the list, was a quick trip to the lake. My cousins have a lake house on Toledo Bend and little man had a blast taking in all the sights around him. He got to go on a boat ride, float in the tube, ride the four wheeler, drive the lawn mower, and swim in the lake and hot tub. Wow, he was exhausted and ready to come home after all that fun. Today we are going to keep it a "chill" day and just hang out and maybe go for a quick swim. I'm thinking we'll need to squeeze in a nice long nap some part of today. We hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday!!

There were lots of "BIG" boy toys at the lake, the four wheel was by far his favorite. Everyone was sweet and took turns taking him for rides. I think this little guy is going to be handy around the house one day.... This picture was taken after we left the lake and he crashed about 4 minutes after leaving. Please note he fell asleep with his hand in his snack bucket. And yes, I did fix his seat belt... He is such a wiggle worm! :)And this is after a 2 hour nap..... this kid bounced back and was ready to play again! And I needed about a 5 hour nap just to keep up with him.

Okay... maybe I could snuggle down a little bit longer.
